How Does Loudmink Work After You Sign Up?

Loudmink Team·

After you sign up for Loudmink, the AEO platform researches your brand from your domain, generates buyer-intent tracking queries, checks what AI search engines currently say about you, and delivers your first intelligence report. The entire setup takes roughly 10 minutes with no manual configuration required. Within your first week, you have tracking data, a gap analysis, and content proposals ready for review. This article walks through what happens from the moment you subscribe through your first month.

Loudmink is designed so you do not need to be an AEO expert to use it. The system handles research, content creation, and verification. You review and approve. Before signing up, you can run a free scan to see what AI search engines currently say about your brand. See pricing for plan details.

Day 1: Onboarding and First Check (10 Minutes)

The onboarding process is automated and takes roughly 10 minutes from start to finish. You provide your website URL, and Loudmink's research system does the rest.

What happens automatically:

  1. Domain research. Loudmink's AI researches your brand using your website and external sources (LinkedIn, Crunchbase, news coverage, industry sites). It builds a profile of your product: name, description, category, and topics.

  2. Query generation. Based on your profile, the system generates 6 buyer-intent queries, the kinds of questions your potential customers would ask AI search engines. These become your tracked queries. You can edit, add, or remove queries before confirming.

  3. Profile confirmation. You review the generated profile and queries. Edit anything that needs adjusting, then confirm to start tracking.

  4. First campaign cycle. Loudmink runs all your queries across the AI search engines on your plan (1 engine on Starter, 3 on Pro, 5 on Max). It extracts who gets recommended, what sources AI pulls from, and where your brand stands.

  5. First report. You receive a gap analysis showing where you appear, where you are missing, what competitors show up instead, and what sources AI search engines are pulling from for your category.

At the end of onboarding, you see one of three results: you are already getting cited (with specific examples), AI is mentioning you but not citing you (with a plan to close the gap), or you have zero visibility (with a clear starting strategy).

Week 1: Understanding Your Position

In your first week, Loudmink delivers a tracking dashboard showing full AI responses per engine, source visibility reports identifying which domains AI pulls from, and prompt volume data showing monthly search demand for your queries. The platform continues monitoring in the background while you review what it has found.

What you see in your dashboard:

  • Tracking tab. Every query you track, with the full AI response from each engine side by side. You can see exactly what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Grok say when someone asks your buyer questions. Compare how each engine answers the same query differently.

  • Insights. Narrative reports explaining what AI search engines are saying about your brand and competitors. Source visibility showing which domains AI pulls from for your queries. On Pro and Max plans, you see specific Reddit threads and YouTube videos being cited.

  • Prompt volumes. How many people are searching for specific topics on AI search engines per month. This helps you understand which of your tracked queries have the most search volume and commercial intent.

What to do in Week 1: Read through the tracking responses. Identify which competitors consistently appear and which sources AI cites for your category. This context informs everything that follows.

Weeks 2-3: Content Proposals Arrive

Loudmink's content agents generate articles, Reddit comments, and YouTube recommendations targeting the specific queries where your brand is currently missing. These are not generic blog posts. They are specific to the gaps in your visibility and the sources AI search engines favor for those topics.

What you receive:

  • Optimized articles written to match how AI search engines retrieve and cite content. Each article targets a specific gap in your visibility. Articles are structured with answer-first formatting, clean passage boundaries, and the specificity AI needs to extract and cite. As of June 2026, Starter plans get 8 articles per month. Pro gets 20. Max gets 40.

  • Reddit opportunities (Pro and Max plans). The system identifies Reddit threads that AI search engines cite for your category queries. It surfaces uncommented threads where your brand could appear, writes draft comments, and can post on your behalf if you enable it. Pro includes 20 comments per month, Max includes 40.

  • YouTube opportunities (Max plan). Loudmink identifies which YouTube videos AI search engines currently cite and recommends videos to create with similar formats, topics, and angles. Titles, scripts, and strategy provided. Up to 10 per month.

Human review is the default. Nothing publishes without your approval. Every article, every Reddit comment, every YouTube recommendation sits in your queue until you review and approve it. You can enable auto-publishing if you prefer, but it is off by default.

Week 4: Publication and Verification

Once you approve content, Loudmink publishes it to your connected platforms (WordPress or Contentful for blog articles, Reddit directly for comments). Then something happens that most AEO platforms skip: verification.

Post-publication verification. After content goes live, Loudmink rechecks the AI search engines on your next monitoring cycle to confirm your brand is actually appearing in the answers. This closes the loop between "we published content" and "AI search engines are now recommending us." If a piece of content did not move the needle, you know. If it did, you know that too.

What verification looks like: Your tracking data updates to show whether your brand now appears for queries where it was previously absent, whether your position improved, and whether new sources are being cited. The campaign report will highlight what changed since last cycle.

Ongoing: The Continuous Cycle

AI search results change weekly. Loudmink's research found that only 38% of citations persist from one week to the next. One-time optimization does not work. The platform runs continuously to maintain and expand your presence.

Your recurring cadence (determined by plan):

  • Starter (7-day cycle): Queries rechecked weekly, fresh analysis and content proposals each cycle
  • Pro (4-day cycle): Queries rechecked every 4 days, more frequent content and Reddit proposals
  • Max (2-day cycle): Queries rechecked every 2 days, highest volume of content, Reddit, and YouTube proposals

Each cycle produces a new campaign report showing what changed, new gaps that emerged, and fresh content proposals to address them. The system adapts to what AI search engines are doing now, not what they were doing when you signed up.

The Loudmink Agent

Available from any page via the agent button, the Loudmink agent is a conversational AI that knows your business, your competitive landscape, and your current AI search visibility. You can ask it questions like:

  • "Which competitors keep showing up where I don't?"
  • "What should I focus on this week?"
  • "Why is my brand missing from Perplexity for this query?"
  • "Draft an article targeting [specific gap]"

The agent's knowledge base updates automatically with fresh data from your tracked queries and campaign results. Recommendations appear as interactive cards you can approve or dismiss directly in chat.

What You Need to Do (and What You Do Not)

Loudmink handles: Research, monitoring, gap analysis, content writing, Reddit drafting, YouTube scripting, publication (when approved), and verification.

You handle: Reviewing and approving content before it publishes. Optionally editing drafts. Adding new queries if your strategy evolves. That is it.

The platform is designed for teams that need AI visibility results without dedicating someone full-time to AEO. The system does the work. You make the decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does setup take?

Roughly 10 minutes from entering your domain to receiving your first campaign report. The onboarding is automated: Loudmink researches your brand, generates tracking queries, and runs your first AI search engine check without manual configuration. You review and confirm a generated profile, then the system runs.

Can I add my own queries or do I have to use the generated ones?

Both. Loudmink generates 6 buyer-intent queries during onboarding based on your brand profile. You can edit these, remove any that are not relevant, and add your own at any time. Your plan determines how many total queries you can track (50 on Starter, 150 on Pro, 300 on Max).

What if I want to auto-publish content?

Auto-publishing is available but off by default. You can enable it in settings if you prefer content to go live without manual review. Most customers keep human review on because the content represents their brand. Either approach works.

Do I need to connect my CMS?

For blog articles, yes. Loudmink connects to WordPress (via Application Password) or Contentful. Once connected, approved articles publish directly. You can also export articles manually if you use a different CMS. Reddit comments post directly through Loudmink's integration. Disconnect anytime from Settings without affecting previously published content.

What happens if I cancel?

Your existing data remains visible but Loudmink pauses monitoring, content generation, and verification until billing is active again. No data is deleted. If you resubscribe later, everything resumes: scheduled checks restart, campaigns recover, and stale reports refresh.
